The Festival du Nouveau Cinéma Montreal, BE

To add to the number of witnesses, filmmakers and artists from around the world have created Some Strings, a series of original cinematic works based on the poem by Palestinian writer Refaat Alareer. These pieces of string, taken up by the artists, are a variety of looks, without limits or boundaries, launched in June 2024 in cities around the world. Over 100 artists have produced nearly 6 hours of films. You can meet them at the heart of an installation presented in a loop for the festival’s duration.
